When one door closed, another opened. Choosing to step into that opportunity marked the beginning of a new chapter where I was finally in control of my time, my business, and the way I show up for the people who matter most.
Within a few months, everything changed. I found out I was pregnant with my first daughter, and not long after, I was laid off. It was a mix of excitement about starting our family and uncertainty about what would come next. At the time, I had already started taking real estate classes. What began as a potential side job quickly became the new path forward.
In December 2015, I earned my real estate license and hit the ground running, learning everything I could while working on a team. By May, I was in the hospital having my daughter when I received the offer on my first listing. There I was, in the hospital, newborn beside me, writing up the contract. That’s when it clicked; I could build a career that worked around my life, not the other way around.
My background was in banking and collections, followed by brand promotions, ad sales, and planning large-scale marketing events. Each role helped me become comfortable building trust, navigating tough conversations, and connecting with people quickly. Real estate felt like a natural next step because it has always been about relationships, communication, and making sure people feel genuinely taken care of.
My Mom and Nana have had a huge impact on where I am today. My Mom worked full time while raising my three younger siblings and me. We never felt like we were going without and always had everything we needed. Now that I’m a Mom myself, I look back and think, how did she do all of that without the tools we have now? Her answer is always the same: she just figured it out. My Nana has also been a constant in my life and still is. She has always been there when we needed her most.
Having strong, present women in my life, along with my supportive husband, Erec, has shaped who I am as a mother and how I show up for my clients in real estate. People are often navigating major life changes when buying or selling, and they need someone who will be honest, keep things moving, and truly care. My job is to make sure my clients feel supported, informed, and confident knowing someone is in their corner.
Taking a genuine, people-first approach makes most days not even feel like work. I truly love what I do and the opportunity to be there for people during important moments in their lives.
Because of the repeat and referral-based business I built, I decided to go out on my own in January 2025. It’s given me the space to structure my business intentionally and think about long-term growth. This past year, my business grew faster than expected, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported me and trusted me with their real estate journey.
My daughters, Avery and Ashlyn, are both in school now and involved in activities that keep our days full. I’ve learned how important it is to be intentional with my time so I can be present for practices, games, and school events. We spend weekends at the beach, take the boat out when we can, and enjoy ski trips in the winter. Our golden doodle, Honey, is also a big part of our family.
What I’m most proud of is taking what could have been a really difficult situation and turning it into an opportunity to try something completely new. Choosing a non-traditional path changed my life, and I want my daughters to see that they can build lives around what matters most to them. For me, that’s a fulfilling career and being a present Mom. And now, I get to help others navigate big life changes of their own with the same care and attention I’d want for my own family.
Real estate is personal. Whether you're buying, selling, or navigating a major life change, I’ll guide you through every step with clear communication and a strategy tailored to your goals. If you're selling, I’ll offer honest advice on how to prep and price your home to achieve strong results. From there, I’ll handle staging, coordinating vendors, and marketing so you can focus on the bigger picture.
If you're buying, I’ll make sure you understand each step before moving forward, so you always feel informed, supported, and confident in every decision. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to help uncover what matters most in a home, a neighborhood, and a lifestyle, so you find the right fit for your needs. Having lived in Delaware nearly my whole life, I know the local areas and communities well and can offer helpful insight throughout the home search process.
My favorite part of this work is the long-term relationships I build with my clients. I’m here as a resource long after closing, whether you need market updates, have questions about your home, or want trusted local recommendations for anything from contractors to cleaners. You can reach out anytime, and I’ll be here to help.
Sincerely,

Gina Spiese
